Thanksgiving

First we ate...lunch.

Then we dressed for the occasion...sort of. Carolina hated the dress!

Still hates it....
Yup, still hates it....
Her cousin on the other hand LOVED the dress and tried to put it on several times that day.
Carolina always snatched it up and said, "NO! MINE!" Eventually she looked it and then her cousin and must have thought if she didn't get rid of it soon (and permanently) there would be another wrestling match to get it on her. So she walked over to Sofia and handed it to her, "there it is."

Xavi had no problem getting dressed when I pointed out he could look like his daddy!

TURKEY!

Stuff to eat with TURKEY

If you're happy (because you're not wearing a dress you hate) and you know it clap your hands, stomp your feet, yell hurray! HURRAY!
Waiting on Ms. C to take a family picture Good Try.

Halloween at School

Xavi was home for three days with an ear infection. Finally got in to see the doc and got antibiotics. On Monday we decided to go for a walk and Xavi and another buddy kept stopping at doors along the way and knocking and yelling trick or treat! Nice try kid, but halloween is done.

He has also said that next year Carolina can be spiderman and he wants to be lightening McQueen and run her over. We keep telling him that's not nice.

Halloween

Xavi lets his friend wear his spiderman costume - good sharing!
Carolina, confused by all the kids in costume. We roamed HP with a rather large group of friends and friends of friends. It was so much fun, even for the adults.
Xavi and pals. The scuba diver asked him to hold hands and the ghost of christmas past asked to come in!

There were costume and candy conferences the entire afternoon. Comparing notes on costumes and candy, of course.
Carolina picked up trick or treating so FAST! In one house she was a pro - walked right up to the house and squeaked "tweet". She either held out her spiderman bucket (HAD to be same as her brother) or dug in a bowl for candy.

FALL! I know, it's about time.

First trip (of MANY) to a pumpkin patch. Another one (pumpkin patch/apple orchard) planned for this coming Saturday, one with his school, and one more with the tias. Xavi has been asking about this since last winter! Now he's shown Carolina how to say pumpkin!

I took the first two pics of the kids and Xavi took the one of Carolina leaning on the couch - not bad!
