At Navy Pier's Children's Museum...rain coats were meant to keep them dry. Didn't work for either kid - even the ones that left them on.

potty training?

No, not for Xavi...for Caro?!?! It seems way too early, but she's been waking up from naps and night sleep dry, she seems interested in what her brother's doing in the bathroom, and she can say pee pee and caca very clearly. Is that enough? I asked her on Wednesday if she wanted to poop and she crouched down next me and pooped (in herdiaper). Later that same day I asked her if she wanted to pee when I picked her up after nap and as I held her she did. But that had to be coincidence? Today after nap I took her to the bathroom and sat her on the potty and asked her to pee, just like xavi AND SHE PEED IN THE POTTY!! WOOHOO! Could it be? Is she ready? Are we? Stay tuned. It could be a hoax on her part - I wouldn't doubt that one bit!

Hershey, PA!

Here we were at the intersection of Chocolate and Cocoa Ave. The kids were so excited they couldn't contain themselves. Carolina immediately recognized the word "chocolate". Xavi kept repeating "we're going to chocolate world!"


We made one stop each day we were on the road on the way back. The second day we went to the Toledo Zoo - nothing to write

home about. The first day we stopped here. It may just be hershey chocolate...not my favorite, but it was everywhere and the kids were in heaven. We went through the "factory", got some "free" chocolate, then bought a whole lot more! It was so worth it to see their faces. Xavi still wants to talk about it - his trip to chocolate world!
