Too Cold to go Outside...

...so we've had to find indoor activities. Lots more skipping. Lots of climbing. And finding where the snacks are kept...oh, and trying to do maromas (?, english is failing me...I'm not sure what this called in english? Definitely not a somersault as I originally posted....tumble, maybe?). He says down when he wants to go downstairs...or when he wants the cats to get down from the table. He calls me Norma and he started saying Daniel but quickly reverted back to papi. Says open when he wants the baby gate opened. He says "hmm, good" when he sees food. Like when he saw cookie monster eating a cookie

The tumbles scare us a bit, because somtimes it looks like his neck bends in a weird angle.
On the potty training front, he uses his potty to store toys or to stand on so he can wash his hands and LOVES to sit on the toilet seat with handles like a big boy. But never does anything! He just likes to sit on it after he's done his business in the diaper and then he throws tp in and says bye as it flushes. He's got a lot of it down, all except the most important part!

Good to know someone else is in the same boat...or the same pot. Penelope says potty but is definitely not ready to use it.

Hey dad,
Time to get a small mat like we used to have for tumbling and wrestling. Firm 2" thick about 6'x8' that folds up. You can teach him how to tuck his chin when doing a front roll or hand and head stand to a roll. Teach him to tuck an arm under his chest when rolling left or right. Wait till he is two and start him with simple katas and soon the crane kick. He should be a jr. black belt by age eight.
