Here is the before and after of the hair. The before picture was an attempt to tame the hair with some gel...still didn't work, so we had it all cut off. Yay! No more mornings running after Xavi trying to wet and gel his hair.

These days I'm just trying to keep up with what he's saying, which isn't always discernable. We know he's trying to say something because he repeats sounds while pointing to the same thing, but not everything is clear. Ok, thought of an example. He was pointing to various things and saying "hallo" or "callo". Sometimes we couldn't figure out what he was pointing to and definitely couldn't understand the word he was trying to say. We then realized that he had been pointing to a rubber duck or a pigeon or Big Bird and trying to say pajaro (bird). Favorite words now are agua, Elmo (asks for his Elmo doll every morning), and libro (book). Libro and jugo (juice) are new words he can say clearly enough to understand.
