better than an angry bee

Happy Halloween! This year Xavier was a lion! He even roared like a lion!

It wasn't very scary...

But he had a tough day, didn't nap enough (daylight savings change!) and was kind of grumpy, so he didn't do much this halloween. He went out and came back with this:

At least it was better than last year when he was an angry bee...

There is a video of today's activities... It may not be ready until tomorrow, check back again if it's not!

The Babysitter's (Mari not Abuela) Request

For more pictures...or better yet, another video. We'll try for one on Tuesday. Here are some recent pics. Xavi has a new bo bo on his head.

Can you guess how it happened?

Was it while trying to climb on furniture?

While standing on furniture?

While trying to get down from a place he shouldn't be on and doing it in a way that doesn't make any sense?

Or while running full speed until he fell and hit a wall?

ANS: Full speed ahead until he fell and hit a wall. You can see the cut on his head. We thought this might have been the day for first stitches. It was Xavi's lucky day and this scratch and a nasty bump were all he had to deal with.

Last Weekend...

Oma and Gramps came for a visit. That's why there were no pictures. Here are a few from the weekend. The grandparents were around when Xavier started to say "MY" for everything. I'm sure it's practice and not that he really thinks everything is his. We may have to stop reading "That's Not My Truck" to him, just in case.
Here's what else he did...
He went to Michigan Ave.

He celebrated abuelita's birthday..

He celebrated gramps' birthday too, earlier in the week.

He read with oma at the bookstore

He bothered Kiko while she slept on gramps.

He got dragged around in his elmo chair by uncle Gabi...until uncle got tired.

He had his feet examined by gramps - to make sure they weren't hobbit feet. The jury is still out.
