Has live stream video. Days spent watching my little one at daycare...not productive. Thankfully it's the end of the quarter. Right now he's trying to put his coat on. Now the other kids are reading a book and he's near the door...looks like he's crying. My heart is breaking. Now he's on the floor playing with toys. He's wandering around the room again. The teachers have called him over and he's refused. Camera streams in 20 second increments through 4 classrooms. Waiting for his to come around again. Couldn't see him this last time. The classrooms are huge and the camera is aimed at the center of the room. Maybe he's sitting next to Miss Brenda now in the reading corner. Can't see all the kids over there. He likes Miss Brenda and Miss Elizabeth a lot. Afternoons are great, mornings stink. He is missing Sarai, asked if she would be at school yesterday and abuela? He asked to go to casa de abuelos today.
Ok, he's still standing by the door. Boo hoo. No! He's standing in the reading corner! Yay!
They say it will take 2-3 weeks for him to get used to the new school. First week was a dream, this week sucks so far. Two more weeks and he'll be fine, but then he'll be out for a week and a half for x-mas break. Then Sarai goes to school with him!

Happy Thanksgiving
Turkey is in the oven, despite the slow start this morning. We woke up late, 7:45am - very late for Xavi, and then he had to play with his favorite new toy: Play-Doh! He can spend so much time playing with it - it's great. We'll have to get him molds and other accessories soon. Right now he uses his own.
Like his butt to flatten the play-doh...ok, he did see me do it once. But I put it under a book first.
Or his feet as a mold.
This is rare, to just sit there and stare at it, but when he asks me to make him something - like this kitty in "cutie position", he just looks at it for a while ...before squashing it!

It's been hard to post because we've been so busy. Xavi's daycare is closing soon and to avoid too many changes/disruptions close to his sister's birth we're starting him at the new school on Monday. And compared to his daycare, this feels like a real school. There will be about 12 kids in the class of 2-3 year olds and will be in a fantastic looking classroom. We're excited, but a little worried about the transition. Not to worry Sarai will be joining him a little later - in early January.

More Halloween Fun
Here's how the night began. Lots of screaming and crying.
More screaming.
At this point I realized I never put the battery back in the camera! I was trying to be super organized and not forget anything for this night.
Once we got out into the streets it got better. Though he didn't really understand what was going on at first. Once Xavi realized people were dropping candy in his bucket he was VERY happy!

Halloween
Xavi has been sick all week so the beginning of the night didn't start off so well - lots of protests and crying. He finally agreed to stay in the monkey costume because Sarai was wearing hers. They were both monkeys and thank god for that! I really doubt he would have stayed in it if he hadn't seen her in one also. He loved being a monkey so much that he had to wear it again this morning.
He chased his tail a bit, finally caught it and pulled himself by his tail.
What a tumultuous relationship these two have!

What a tumultuous relationship these two have! Here's a short video. It's a little blairwitch because it was dark and I didn't realize I kept recording, but it gives you a sense of how much these two loved halloween. By the way they dind't say trick or treat. They yelled HALLOWEEN when they wanted candy. Then they sang it as they walked down the street. In this video you can hear them both a bit, but I may be too loud because the camera was around my neck!
